Far enough from the tourist area to see Jamaica’s true beauty—a land of wood and water—while still being close to Negril for some incredible excursions. Raha’s Retreat is situated in a tranquil rural area surrounded by fruit trees, fresh air, chirping birds, and stunning scenery.
All the above-mentioned activities benefit greatly from the property’s tranquilly. The idea to create this sanctuary for the healing arts was inspired by the local natural splendour and the healing qualities of nature, which are still very much alive. We are eager for you to join us on our retreat.

Ma Isheeba Whyne, originally Chyna Whyne, is a well-known singer-songwriter all over the world. Her song “Brand New Life” from his Iron Man album was covered by Pete Townshend, giving her voice additional notoriety. Ma Isheeba was then invited to join The Who on their world tour. After playing on his album “Pilgrim,” Ma Isheeba accompanied Eric Clapton on his year-long world tour in 1998.
The song “SledgeHammer” from Peter Gabriel’s Grammy Award-winning album “So” features Ma Isheeba. She still has the dance-floor-filling ability because of her work with Rick Astley on his number-one record, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
Her voice can be heard on the song “Roadblock” by Stock Aitken & Waterman when it reached the top of the charts. Ma Isheeba was given a special invitation by Seal to accompany him on a European tour with her eight-piece band during the height of Seal’s number-one chart-topping single “Kiss of the Rose.” While still employed by Megastars, she shared the stage with Cream, Dave Gilmore from Pink Floyd, Stanley Jordan, Keith Richards, and BB King at the Guitar Legends performance in Seville.
Ma’isheeba decided to follow the road of holistic treatment for both herself and others when she saw that the lifestyle she was leading in the music, fashion, art, and entertainment industries was endangering her emotional, spiritual, and physical health.
In 1999, she took her first lessons in the Alexander Technique from Walter Carrington at the Carrington School in Holland Park, London. In 2016, she received kemetic yoga teacher training from Yirser Ra Hotep in Jamaica. By combining her holistic practises with the worlds of music, the arts, and entertainment, Ma’isheeba offers the best of both worlds.
A natural wonder, the St. Thomas Healing Baths are situated in Jamaica’s gorgeous parish of St. Thomas. The restorative properties of these healing waters, which are tucked away in tranquil locations with rich greenery, are well known. The natural mineral springs and pools that make up the therapeutic baths each have a unique mineral composition and temperature.
Visitors to these baths come seeking relief from a range of diseases since the mineral-rich waters are said to have healing properties for the body and mind. In the calm and tranquil setting that the baths offer, visitors can unwind in the soothing waters while being surrounded by the beauty of nature.
