UK to St PETERSBURG
In the morning, we will depart from the UK to St Petersburg on British Airways flight.
St PETERSBURG
In the morning, after breakfast we will leave for Hermitage Museum that is also, a part of the Winter Palace and contains one of the most spectacular collections of Western European art in the world. Later, we will take a tour of St Isaac’s Cathedral that is known for its shimmering gold dome. End your day with St Petersburg’s oldest building, the Peter and Paul Fortress, which once held political prisoners.
St PETERSBURG to PUSHKIN
Today, we will be visiting Pushkin, the site of the grand imperial estate of Tsarskoe Selo, or ‘Tsar’s Village’ for its beautiful palaces, parks and lakes. On return to St Petersburg, spend the afternoon at one of the city's finest sites, the Yusupov Palace, a site famous for the murder of Rasputin.
St PETERSBURG to PETERHOF
Today, we will be visiting Petehof, former summer residence of the tsars. The grandeur of the palace is equivalent to the Palace of Versailles. The afternoon is free at leisure.
